| John G. Maher | John Geary Maher joined the US Army in 1942 and served in Europe during WWII. He was engaged in the Battle of the Bulge. He attained the rank of Colonel by his time of separation in 1964 and was awarded a Bronze Star. He married Irene Paykos and lived at 306 Oakford Avenue in Delanco from 1953. His family was active at Dobbins Memorial Church in Delanco. John served as a teacher and principal at Burlington Township High School. He died in Delanco July 7, 2013 at age 93.
